Phone scam on fake Changi Airport/Singapore Airlines contest

The police are warning the public to be careful of wary phone calls telling them that they have won free place tickets through a contest organised by Changi Airport or Singapore Airlines.

During the call, personnel information like passport details will be asked to “identify and process the winnings”. Changi Airport Group (CAG) has clarified that such calls are not real and are likely to be scams. 

Should you win any contest organised by CAG, the public are advised to call CAG Customer Hotline at 6595 6868 to verify the contests’ authenticity and winners of contest organised by CAG will by notified by an official letter, email and telephone.
